This is Escape Newsletter…
A slightly different style of newsletter. In January 2020, I embarked on an insane writing challenge to write 365 short stories. Each story was based on randomly chosen single words.
Now, my plan is to share some of the stories that I wrote in newsletters. I also plan to share what I learned during the challenge.
I found that a solution to my problem of never finishing a novel. This I solved by writing the first draft as a series of short stories. Nothing new but it has helped me to frame the entire story. This has given me a new approach to writing.
In February, I plan to share 12 of short stories. Most of these are the original manuscripts. The offerings are as follows:
Featured Story: #10 Blueberry Muffins. Originally published in my first short story book, Lemon Zest.
